Weâve been doing 16 feeds since NetNewsWire Lite 1.0 back in 2002. The number of these default feeds is always 16, which, to a programmer, is a round number since itâs a power of two. #NETNEWSWIRE LOGIN FREE#Youâre free to delete any or all of these feeds! Itâs especially useful for new users, who may not know how RSS readers work â this way they can see, without having to do anything at all, how the app works. The reason we include those feeds is so you have something to read right away. You might even find a couple you didnât know about, but that you like. We include some default feeds for new users â we think youâll like at least some of them. Where do they come from? Why are they there? ð£ The first time I ran the app, there were some feeds already in there. We realize that weâre stretching the meaning of âToday,â but weâve decided that itâs okay. In the dialog that appears, turn on âAlways Use Reader View.â Why does the Today feed show the last 24 hours of articles?īecause itâs not that great when youâre reading your feeds at midnight and the Today feed empties out. In the timeline, in the navigation bar at the top, tap the feed name. Mac: right-click or ctrl-click on the feed in the sidebar, and choose âAlways Use Reader View.â (Alternately: select a feed, choose Window > Info, then make sure the appropriate checkbox is checked in the Info window.) How do I turn on the Reader view for individual feeds? Instead, you can use the Reader view just when you need it â and you can turn it on for individual feeds. #NETNEWSWIRE LOGIN FULL#If a feed provides full text, thereâs no need to use the Reader view, and you can save on battery and network use
Looks like it would make 121*4 bottles of alcohol every month which is awesome right?Įxcept no, that's not how that works. #The riftbreaker palladium upgrade#I've gotten deep into City of Gangsters and decided to build a bottling plant and upgrade some of my stills to make kegs because this Good learning experience, could probably get back to where I was pretty quickly if I'm a bit more careful. Of all things, I ran out of Carbonium at the worst possible time, and ran out of power after some mass upgrades, and THEN got a big wave of critters. Learned the hard way that you can hit a fail state by overupgrading/extending without enough resource deposits running. I AM THE ONLY ONE IN THIS GAME WHO GETS LAID It's seriously annoying to do it by hand every time. The game needs an easy way to rebuild destroyed stuff. I was like "why is my goddamn cultivator planting grass on the rhodonite spot?" Didn't even notice that middle button. I was running around the rhodonite spot smashing red crystals and wondering why rhodonite was the most precious resource in the game because the other two missions like you said, auto set the cultivators. Holy poo poo I figured I was missing something but wasn't sure what. Led to me assuming your cultivator just grows the most valuable plant in its immediate area, so I was growing lovely basic grass in the boondocks of my main base for like 15 minutes without noticing, when I could have just been growing whatever I wanted near the center There's a desert mission that's meant to serve as like a cultivator tutorial but it's kinda flawed in that it auto-sets your cultivators in the area to grow the special mushroms you're there for. There’s other stuff like teleporting where you basically just have a mouse pointer anyway but not the intuitive sense of where your pointer even is like you would with a mouse. I haven’t played kb/m but have to assume it’s way better. I’m also doing some serious finger gymnastics to use all my consumables and skills properly in a fight. Now I’m used to them and it’s not so bad but I’d still love a mouse for walls, mass repairs, etc. I’m playing on console so I have no choice but I found the controls extremely cumbersome at first. Wondering if the controls feel more natural after a bit I fired it up and started the tut with a controller and it felt a bit unwieldy, but so did the mouse/kb!? lol #The riftbreaker palladium mod#Yeah it's a mod slot item, so when you select the contextual center button on a cultivator you can select which plant to grow.Īre you playing Riftbreaker with kb+mouse or controller? The real power behind countless overlords #The riftbreaker palladium how to#The tooltips are really good though, you can look at any number and it shows you how to improve it which is really helpful at a glance. I feel like there's a similar issue here as there was in early Hammerting (before they improved on it) where every time someone levels up you have to choose each point and it just gets kind of tedious when you have a bunch of troops. The devs have already released a couple hotfixes since EA release too which is always promising. I think the game needs work but is actually a good time as-is, especially for under $10. So the loop is to hit play or FFD to let time pass and let people heal up, wait for a mission to come in, or wait for one of the arena/tournaments to open up, and when you need to take care of leveling someone up or buying new gear you can pause and take your time. I figured this game would be assembling arena teams and that's it but it's actually got missions that come to you that you have to send dudes out to take care of alongside the arena stuff that comes up too. Quoting myself from the other day to say this game's actually pretty neat! It took me one or two sessions to figure out what to *do* because there's a realtime element to it that honestly probably shouldn't be there and should just be turn based or something. I barely played it because it seemed like my jam and I didn't want to spoil anything so I have no idea if this is any good right now but for $9 I'ma probably check it outĮdit: Still seems incredibly early on and probably not much different from the demo I tried a year ago unfortunately. I've had Gladiator Guild Manager on my wishlist since they first showed up at a steam demo thing last year and it just went EA yesterday, it's kind of like an auto-battler with a light management twist between combat. Dekalb firstclass login professional#She and her husband spent their professional lives in Washington, D.C., where she enjoyed a 40-year career in the Arlington County Schools as director of guidance in a middle school while he worked with the National Education Association. When the Kellogg Foundation funded a program in Illinois to place a health educator on the staff of each state college, she came back to Northern. Key graduated in 1944 from Northern Illinois State Teachers College – now known as NIU – with a major in biology and a minor in music. “The program will recognize the great work Illinois principals are doing, and provide them with specialized professional development and growth opportunities.” “The Marguerite Key Fellows Program is a project in line with the vision and passion Marguerite has for supporting the preparation of future educational leaders,” Pluim says. “I can’t see any more noble purpose, or more potentially powerful purpose for the future of our country, than empowering these underserved voices.”Ī five-member advisory committee will guide the ongoing framework and rationale of the program as well as the selection, and work, of the fellows.įellows need only serve one year, Clemens says, but are always welcome to stay involved. “There is research that shows – and I personally believe this – that those students across the country who, at this moment are facing the most significant obstacles to college access and college success, are the country’s largest source of growth potential,” he adds. “What we’re hoping to find is real evidence of innovation, energy and ingenuity that’s being brought to the table in service of this very poignant need, and to put additional focus on this innovation, to increase opportunities for students to successfully achieve their college dreams,” says Clemens, research associate and director of the Illinois Post-Secondary Report Card at NIU’s Center for P-20 Engagement. The program was made possible by a gift Key made to the department with the goal of advancing the principalship across NIU’s service region. The Marguerite Key Fellows Program was proposed by Alan Clemens, an instructor in the Department of Leadership, Educational Psychology and Foundations, and Carolyn Pluim, chair of the department. Organizers hope that these conversations will not only shepherd such students into college but also prepare them for success there. The six principals will gather Thursday, June 21, on the DeKalb campus for an intensive leadership retreat to share creative and potentially transformational ideas to unlock higher education for underserved populations of students.
